Eswatini BookFest
Date: 17 October 2026
Location: Mbabane
The series opens with the Eswatini BookFest, bringing readers, writers, and book lovers together for a rich day of literary engagement, fellowship, and meaningful visibility for African-authored works.
Attendees can expect a vibrant atmosphere shaped by books, conversation, discovery, and purposeful networking. It is the kind of gathering where a reader may meet an author, an author may meet a publisher, and everyone may leave with fresh courage for the work ahead.
South Africa BookFest
Date: 24 October 2026
Location: Durban
One week later, the South Africa BookFest continues the journey with another gathering built around books, readers, authors, and strategic connections. The emphasis remains the same: dignified exposure, thoughtful engagement, and a celebration of what God can do through the written word.
Expect room for book promotion, conversations around publishing and readership, and the kind of shared momentum that reminds every participant that they are part of something larger than a single title or single day.
East Africa BookFest
Date: 5 December 2026
Location: Nairobi
The series concludes in Nairobi with the East Africa BookFest, a fitting final gathering that brings together a wide community around books, ideas, ministry, publishing, and cultural influence.
This closing event is ideal for celebrating progress, strengthening partnerships, amplifying authors, and stirring the next chapter for readers and writers across the region. In simple terms, it is a feast for people who still believe books can do holy work.
