My name is Albert Paul Moifula and this is my writing journey.
Growing up in Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 West Africa, made me appreciate the beauty of my heritage and the total embrace of my kingdom call. And added to that the fact that I grew up in a Christian Home made it even the more sweeter.
As fate could have it, that joy of growing up in a “nuclear family” was taken away from me the day I lost (my father). “June 12 -2011” was the day I lost my Dad. And ever since that time I made journaling my friend. The pen and page became a place of solace for young “Albert Paul Moifula “.
While all this was happening in the background, somewhere through my childhood and teenage-hood, I realised that I have a strong passion for music, but more importantly the ministry of worship. For intangible , I could write songs, develop skits, build choreography and pretty much setup a mello drama team in Church. Doing all this made me learned to accept the multi – creative sides of (calling).
In 2018, I will then leave Home ( Sierra Leone 🇸🇱) to travel to Rwanda 🇷🇼. Where I will then study for 4 years at the African Leadership University Rwanda. This opportunity shifted a lot for me in perspective as well as my leadership journey. it was going to be my first time in the “East Africa Region”, but more importantly it was going to be the first time I will be far away from Home for a while.
Coming to the “ALU Campus” was a whole tone experience and a propose card. It was on Campus, that I began to grow the love of writing again. The adrenaline started pumping again, and those early years on campus made me to finally accept my calling beyond the place of being a worship leader.
The vision of “The Mantle of True Worship” was birthed in the year 2020 during the pandemic. And those days in the house alone, made me to finally develop the chest of courage to write what will become my first book on worship. It started with me having a lot of questions from within. And translating those questions into thoughts, and finally presenting it as an ideas.
The goal of the Mantle of True Worship is to remind believers of the relevance of the secret place. And how that the one connection we all share when it comes to supernatural increase is the place of worship. Since 2020, the love of writing has continued to grow wings, and the pursuit of becoming better with the help of the Holy Spirit is one I’ll always look forward to. Additionally, I look forward to learning from y’all on this platform.
