What inspired you to write God’s End-Time Weapon, and what convinced you that this message needed to be shared?
My inspiration to write this book was born out of a passion to see women rise and become better versions of themselves. I was also inspired by a heartfelt burden to help women fulfil their God-given purpose. I believe this burden was fuelled by my own journey of pain and life’s challenges, which I experienced from my teenage years into adulthood. After reflecting on my life’s struggles and emotional experiences, I realised that these could become life lessons to teach, encourage, and lead others on the right path towards a successful destiny. This convinced me to write God’s End-Time Weapon.
Who do you believe this book is written for, and what impact or transformation do you hope readers will experience?
All the stories are dear to me, having been birthed by the Holy Spirit, but Jedidah woke things up. The past came alive and I found myself praying for the healing of my soul and forgiveness of people who hurt me when I was a child, heaping expectations on me which they could not meet. “Pharisectomy syndrome” we really do need to understand grace and get out of that religious bondage.
Purpose: Reveals depth, vulnerability, and authenticity. It also highlights key sections readers can look forward to.
As you were writing, was there a particular chapter, lesson, or theme that stood out to you as especially meaningful and significant?
Chapter Two, The Divine Mandate, significantly stood out for me because it flows from the heart of God. In the account of Jeremiah 9:17, God, speaking to the Israelites, urged the prophet to call forth women during a time of crisis when the nation was facing judgement. God commanded Jeremiah to send for the women so that when they came and wailed, God would hear. This chapter anchors on the fact that God believes in the woman and designed her to be His partner and a change agent. This sank deeply within me. Who is a woman to be accorded such value in the Creator’s master plan and divine programme? The revelation that God wired a woman to be a solution in the fulfilment of His divine programme and prophetic redemptive purposes was a game changer for me. When all other solutions fail and a chosen woman arises on her knees, she becomes a weapon in God’s hand—a vehicle to carry and birth life in dead situations. This chapter also exposed me to a deeper intimacy with God. It opened my understanding of why, throughout the Bible, God used women to birth His purposes and preserve His move. As I stayed in prayer while writing this chapter, I experienced two notable things. First, God laid a deep burden in my heart for daughters, women, and mothers. I went through intense travail during the writing and realised that through it, God was birthing something and establishing a testimony that someone would receive from this book. Secondly, I experienced intense spiritual warfare. This taught me that when women arise and step into their place of calling and assignment with God, they will face opposition and resistance. I realised that we cannot be ignorant of Satan’s devices.
How did the journey of writing God’s End-Time Weapon shape or deepen your faith, perspective, ministry, or personal walk with God?
The journey of writing this book shaped my perspective on the ministry of prayer and deepened my understanding of the place of women of prayer as a cornerstone in life, the Church, and society. Through it all, it was a time of deep reflection, beginning with my personal experiences and how I have been helped by God’s grace to overcome challenges, tasks, and issues that came my way. In writing this book, I encountered and confronted some things in my own life and learnt lessons through the revelations that the Holy Spirit consistently highlighted and instructed me to bring out. These pivotal truths deepened my personal walk with God. My personal testimonies have been used as a backbone for what I wrote in this book. I realised that God does not require my perfection or my own effort for me to be used by Him. It is my “yes” in brokenness and my availability that make me a vessel in His hand. God’s divine ability at work in my weakest moments was a personal takeaway as I wrote. No matter how messed up my life has been or what my weaknesses may be, it is my faith and trust in His process that qualify me in His hands. His strength is made perfect through my weakness and vulnerability, and this helps me become an encouragement and a lifter of other women in their low moments, struggles, and confusion.

Maybe you feel called, but you do not know how to express it or have no footprints to illuminate your divine path for guidance. Maybe you do not understand the calling, but the nudges are there in your inner knower. Perhaps you sense that there is something greater you were created for and wonder whether this could be God’s voice leading you towards something. Maybe you are going through a wilderness of tests, trials, spiritual dryness, waiting, pain, or experiences as a woman, mother, or daughter that you do not understand. Perhaps you keep asking, “How? Why? Why me?” I want to encourage you that this is a message for you. The testimonies in this book will help ignite a flame in your deeper knowing from the secret place. You will begin to understand that God is at work to bring forth the greatness embedded within you. I pray that the Holy Spirit will ignite the potential inside you so that you can embrace the grace of God and the sacred practice of prayer. Whether as an intercessor, watchman, warrior, or gatekeeper, you will recognise and embrace your season and begin to play your role. One thing many people who have read this book tell me is that they can hardly rush through it because it is more like a manual. Someone told me they read one paragraph, put the book down, reflect, and find themselves going into a mode of prayer as something is birthed inside them. I believe that as you read this book, you, as God’s handmaiden, will arise in His Kingdom and embrace your place as His end-time weapon.

Some journeys begin with a manuscript. Others begin with an invitation. Dr. Jeanne Lidigu’s publishing journey is a beautiful reminder that sometimes one invitation, one introduction, or one intentional connection can open a door that changes the course of someone’s life. I first met Dr. Jeanne through one of those connections. During ACABA 2022, Nelly Kagoru, author of Accountability: A Biblical Principle, invited Dr. Jeanne to attend the second African Christian Authors Book Award Gala held at NPC Woodley in Nairobi. At the time, it may simply have looked like one author inviting another person to an authors’ gathering. But looking back, I see something much bigger. Nelly was inviting someone to a place where she herself had already been. That simple act created a bridge because the following year, Dr. Jeanne joined CLC Kenya’s Writing Mentorship Class and began the demanding but rewarding journey of turning the message in her heart into a book. She completed the process and wrote her first book.
And she did not stop there. She has gone ahead to write more books, continuing to develop her voice, sharpen her message and respond faithfully to the burden God has placed upon her heart. What a connection! As a publisher and writing mentor, these are some of the moments that give me the greatest joy. Publishing is not only about producing books. It is about people opening doors for other people. It is about writers saying, “Come and see what I have discovered.” It is about one person’s progress becoming another person’s invitation to begin. This is why I believe so deeply in communities of authors. We may never fully know what can come from inviting one person to a book launch, an authors’ fellowship, a writing class, a conference or even a simple conversation about writing. Sometimes the person sitting quietly in the room is carrying several books that have not yet been written. Dr. Jeanne you are a wonderful example of that possibility. Your debut book, God’s End Time Weapon: When Women Pray, marked more than the publication of a manuscript. It marked the emergence of an author who had found another avenue through which to communicate what God had placed within her. Watching that journey continue has been deeply rewarding for me. And perhaps there is a lesson here for all of us who have already walked through certain doors: do not walk through them alone: Turn around and invite someone. Recommend the class. Introduce the author. Buy someone a ticket. Share the opportunity. Bring a friend to the gathering. Tell another person, “You should be here.” You may think you are simply extending an invitation when God may be beginning an author’s journey.
Dr. Jeanne, I celebrate how far you have come, and I am grateful that CLC Kenya has had the privilege of walking part of this journey with you. May every book you write continue to fulfil the purpose for which the message was entrusted to you.
