Stanley Mkhwanazi

Stanley Mhleli Mkhwanazi is a pastor at Mpolonjeni First Church of the Nazarene in Mbabane, Eswatini, and the author of Redefine Your Worth. His passion lies in guiding individuals toward emotional well-being, spiritual clarity, and a confident understanding of their God-given value.

Inspired by his own personal journey and the many lives he has walked alongside in ministry, Stanley’s book offers a biblically grounded approach to overcoming challenges such as depression, shame, and self-doubt by anchoring identity in Christ.

Beyond his pastoral role, Stanley brings over a decade of experience in entrepreneurship development, where he supported the growth of aspiring entrepreneurs within key organizations in Eswatini.

With an academic background in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Eswatini and Theology from Southern Africa Nazarene University, Stanley is a dedicated communicator who believes in the power of faith, hope, and love to inspire transformation in both ministry and everyday life.

Redefine Your Worth

Redefine Your Worth is a heartfelt and empowering work written for Christians grappling with depression, emotional pain, and mental exhaustion. With pastoral sensitivity and raw vulnerability, Stanley Mkhwanazi offers a lifeline to those who feel ashamed, spiritually stuck, or even abandoned by God.

Drawing from his own journey — battling with depression which led to the loss of his professional career and suicidal thoughts — Stanley shares with honesty and compassion a biblically grounded path toward healing and transformation. Through Scripture, lived experience, and pastoral insight, he equips readers to confront self-doubt, silence the inner critic, and reclaim their God-given identity.

Redefine Your Worth is a timely and redemptive resource for those seeking emotional and spiritual wellness. It reminds every wounded soul that their brokenness is not the end of the story but the beginning of a breakthrough.

Thankyou for bringing the discussion of mental health into the church. So many Christians struggle in private because of the shame of admitting that indeed we are struggling with mental health and suicidal thoughts. It is always the fear that the church may think you nolonger believe in God because of your mental health struggles. I hope this book bridges the gap and start more of these conversations in churches in order to offer complete healing to believers.

Thank you, pastor, for opening up, unmasking and demystifying depression…we are better equipped to deal with it now. I highly recommend the book because ‘if you’re not ‘infected’,you are affected’🙏

Well done Pastor Mkhwanazi. This book could not have come at a better time, when mental health issues are increasingly prevalent. While mental health conditions can affect anyone, groups like young people and the countless facing social and economic challenges would particularly benefit from the message of this book, by overcoming hopeless thoughts and enjoying God’s unfailing love.

Great book that brings clarity on a number of issues somehow not openly discussed in a Christian setting and it’s feels like an encounter with a therapist who understands what we are going through

What a powerful book! Thank you Mr Mkhwanazi for sharing your life with the world. This book make one understand that even when you are a Christian, you still face hard situations which may lead to emotional pain, depression 😢 with this book you get to know how to overcome shame, self doubt, and receive emotional and spiritual healing through the word of God. I like the part “It’s time to stop believing that you are not enough and start walking in faithfullness of God’s love and Grace”. This book is a must have.

This book is so insightful thank you so much pastor Mkhwanazi for sharing. My take was :
1. Take action – he decided to take walk during those walks God showed up.
2. When l read chapter 4 he said a lady shared her story which touched everyone in the group.
This made me realise that if you tell your story out of anger you invite judgement than help. When you heal then tell your truth lives are touched and transformed.

A Message the World Desperately Needs

Though Redefine Your Worth was born from my personal journey, it speaks to a universal truth: that God meets us in our lowest moments with grace, not condemnation. I wrote this book for the silent struggler, the one smiling in public but hurting in private. If you’ve ever battled self-doubt, hopelessness, or the feeling that you’re not enough—this book was written for you.

Whether you’ve read it, heard me speak, or simply believe in the power of God’s love to heal, I’d be honored if you’d leave a word of encouragement here. Your support could help this message reach someone who desperately needs it.
