My Writing Journey
I’ve always loved reading, especially non-fiction, but writing found me during one of life’s most difficult seasons.

In 2012, both my parents were diagnosed with stage 4 cancer—my father with prostate cancer, and months later, my mother with bile duct cancer. They passed away within weeks of each other. Through it all, I watched my mother hold on to her faith with remarkable strength, praying until her final breath.

After the funeral, as life resumed, I began reflecting on the legacy my parents left behind—their daily lessons of love, unity, hard work, and above all, their unwavering faith in God. I wanted to preserve these lessons for future generations.

Initially, I intended to write their story only for our family. But as the story evolved, others encouraged me to share it more widely. That’s how “Colours of Life” was born—my debut book.

Through their journey—rooted in faith, perseverance, and hope—this book honors the past while inspiring the future. It’s a celebration of legacy, a call to remember where we come from, and a reminder that what we build today can bless generations to come.
