AFRICAN christian AUTHORS BOOK AWARD
Below are important steps that describe how submissions are done and provide the guidelines to ensure authors submit in the most suited categories for successful outcomes.
STEP ONE: Review timeline for 2021 program
November 1 2020 – August 30 2021: Submission period for titles in 10 book categories. Find the right submission category for your book here.
Submissions: Two (2) copies of entered title to be received by CLC Kenya at the point of entry and not more than 7 days later.
September – October 2021: Judges finalize on the judging process and compilation of grading and comments.
November, 2021: Winners per category are announced and awarded at the ACABA Gala held at CLC Kenya’s Family Reading Picnic each year.
STEP TWO: Review category descriptions
Submissions are accepted in 10 categories. Click here to view descriptions and judging criteria for the category you’re entering.
STEP THREE: REVIEW THE PROGRAM RULES

STEP FOUR: SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY
For ‘Self-published by Partner’ you will be required to quote the Partner/Publisher member profile credentials to access this package. You can also submit as an independently self-published author.
STEP FIVE: MAKE PAYMENT
Independently self-published authors and member/publishing partners authors in good standing are eligible to submit titles. Fees are based on two categories and are detailed in the program rules.
STEP SIX: SEND TWO COPIES OF EACH SUBMITTED TITLE
Please courier two copies of each submitted title to CLC Kenya’s offices at the address listed in the program rules.
Digital-first, digital-only and audio entries can be emailed according to instructions in program rules.
Our logistics partner, Aptus Logistics will drop-ship copies of each entry to program judges.
