Dr. Patience Itai Hove
Apostle Dr Patience Itai Hove, is a holder of a Degree in Theological Studies from Harare Theological College. A Masters Degree in Leadership in Management with the University of Zimbabwe in which she majored in Systemic Christian Counselling. A Doctorate holder in Transformational Leadership from Bakke Graduate University Seattle USA in which she graduated with a distinction. She also acquired an Honorary Doctorate in Literature and Philosophy from Cypress Bible Institute, Texas USA.
Dr Patience founded Elshaddai Ministries International in 1994, registered with the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe, a Para-Church International Organisation whose main thrust is “Building Families, People and Nations Through Transformational Prayer”. She is a life coach, counsellor and equips women, men and abused children. In her philanthropic work she has reached the Njanja and Chitora communities looking after widows and orphans, child / grandmother headed families. She has also mobilised resources for over 5000 people nationwide for the procurement of food stuff, clothes, school fees and medical requirements for the needy communities (including orphans and vulnerable children) in Njanja, Chitora, Chishawasha and the Harare Hospital Children’s Ward.
Dr Patience an avid writer who has authored and published over thirty
(30) inspirational / devotional books, is the recipient of many awards which include the acclaimed Integrity Award given by Integrity Nations of Northampton in the United Kingdom, An Honorary Award in Organisational Philanthropy from the Philanthropy Institute of Zimbabwe, the Masawara Achievement Award, Top Outstanding Woman in Christian Leadership & Ministry from Women Christian Leadership, Most Outstanding Women Empowerment Award awarded by Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC).
She was inducted into the Women’s Heritage Society World Organization, and Mother of the Nation award by the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe and the award was also awarded to her as a first in our Nation of Zimbabwe.
She is in the process of mobilising resources for the construction of a 2500 seater auditorium for the Elshaddai Transformational Centre in Harare and similar centres nationwide.
She has worked with the likes of Dr Myles Munroe Bahamas, Dr Authur Kitonga (Kenya), Rev Dr Judy Mbugua (Kenya), Rev Annette Tailor (USA) to mention a few. Before going into full time ministry she worked in High Profile Corporate like Delta Corporation Board Zimbabwe and several Top Notch Banks Founders Building Society, Merchant Bank of Central Africa (MBCA) and NMB Bank. She sits in several Boards in the Christian Fratenity and in the Corporate world eg. Power of Touch Senior Citizens International, Elshaddai Ministries International, Elshaddai Biblical Academy, A woman leader of the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe, and Master’s Mind Consultancy to mention a few.
Dr. Patience occasionally serves as the Minister of Religion for National occasions such Zimbabwe Independence Celebrations, Zimbabwe Heroes Day Celebrations and other government official assignments. She became the first woman in the history of the country to be accorded such an honour at the 33rd Independence of Zimbabwe.

Apostle Bishop PI Hove is a renowned author. Her books are a must-read and life transforming. My Christian walk was transformed in the initial stages by Breaking the Cycle of Bondage, Essential Steps For New Christian Discipleship and Journey to Christian Maturity (these two books gave me the opportunity to access parts of the care and nurturing I required for my Christian growth.). The branch to an arrow is my all time favourite, dr Hove demonstrated that vulnerability is not weakness. In addition, indoctrinated to the reader the heart to forgive, reminding us the amazing work of the cross. None of us were worth the only begotten Son of God dying a cruel and shameful death of the cross but Jesus endured it, fulfilled the will of Jehovah Elshaddai. May God continue to use you in this profound manner.
