Rebuilding Walls: Lessons from Nehemiah

This is a book that draws lessons for Leadership and Community Service/Ministry from the Biblical book of Nehemiah. Nehemiah, while in the King’s service in Babylon receives news that his home-land, Jerusalem is in ruins.

Its walls have been broken down and gates burned. He is able to complete the insurmountable task of rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem in only 52 days. This book is about what enabled Nehemiah to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, and what we can learn from him today as we rebuild the broken walls of poverty, disease, orphanhood, and illiteracy among others.

CHRISTIAN LEARNS GOD’S RULES

This is a story about the Greatest two Laws and the Ten Commandments.

Sometimes children find it difficult to understand some Bible teachings. Christian Learns God’s Rules in the first publications in a Children Bible Stories’ series, meant to help children understand Bible teachings through stories. In this story, Christian learns about the Ten Commandments at School.

He does not understand them, and so he goes to his Sunday School teacher, Uncle Peter to explain them to him. Uncle Peter tells Christian a story about Kakuru and Kato. Through this story, Christian understands what the greatest laws that Jesus taught, “Love the Lord your God,” and “Love your neighbour as yourself,” and the Ten commandments mean. He is also able to apply them to his life.

Road of Love

Road of Love is an anthology of Love Poems and poems about love, reflecting the different shades and seasons of love, authored by Dr.Ernest & Zebia Katwesigye, and launched at their wedding.

CREATED UNTO GOOD WORKS

CREATED UNTO GOOD WORKS: Discovering & Walking in Your Divine Purpose for the Marketplace

In a world where the divide between faith and business often seems like a chasm, Dr. Ernest Tashobya Katwesigye builds a bridge. His book, Created Unto Good Works: Discovering & Walking in Your Divine Purpose for the Marketplace, is a timely and powerful call to action for Christians to reclaim their divine mandate—not only in churches, but in boardrooms, classrooms, and startup incubators.
With a compelling blend of biblical teaching, storytelling, and practical wisdom, Dr. Katwesigye challenges the long-standing notion that “ministry” is limited to pulpits and pews. Instead, he invites readers to see the marketplace as a primary arena for kingdom impact. “Your job is not just a job,” he writes. “It is a calling. A ministry. A divine assignment.”
At the heart of the book is the journey of Mugisha, a relatable fictional character navigating the intersection of faith and career. Through Mugisha’s experiences, readers encounter the real struggles, questions, and breakthroughs that come with trying to live out a God-given purpose in the market place. His story brings to life the book’s core message: we were created not just to work, but to do good works—works that glorify God, serve others, and bring transformation to society.
Drawing from Ephesians 2:10, Dr. Katwesigye reframes identity and vocation in profound ways. He explains how Christians can discern their divine purpose, walk in obedience, and align their careers with God’s redemptive agenda for the world. He helps the reader to appreciate that the proverbial sacred versus secular divide is a misconstruing of God’s divine purposes for us. That the Call does not necessarily have to find fulfilment within the four walls of the Church, but wherever God has planted us. From understanding the theology of work to overcoming fear, embracing excellence, and stewarding influence, the book serves as a spiritual roadmap for believers called to leadership in the marketplace.
But this isn’t just theory. Created Unto Good Works is also deeply practical. Each chapter ends with reflection questions and application points, making it ideal for individual devotion or group study. Business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals, and students alike will find themselves encouraged and equipped to lead with integrity and impact.

SWIMMING AGAINST THE TIDE

Teen-age can be a very confusing time because a child is growing into an adult. It is even more complicated for a Born-Again Christian.

How can I enjoy my teen0age while following Christ? Therefore, for a youth to pass through the teen-age phase successfully, they need a hand. The most reliable hand is the hand of God in order to sail through life safely.

There is need to go against the popular tide as a youth, to stand against the pressures of adolescence, by being rooted in Christ. This book has been written to help the Born-Again Teenager to grow in Jesus Christ and be different.

The book, compiled and edited by Ernest Tashobya Katwesigye, combines an interweaving of “Episodes from Destiny” a Senior Two girl aged fifteen, and commentary by different adults who work closely with teenagers. It also has questions that help the reader to reflect on the issues discussed.

The book is beneficial both for personal study and group discussions. It is a must-read for every teenager, youth, youth worker, teacher, parent or lover of teenagers.
