Sister Evelyn’s book was truly inspiring. It deepened my faith and gave me a clearer understanding that hard work, determination, and faith in God can uplift any woman toward her desired goals. It’s a must-read for every young lady—simple, well-written, articulate, and deeply humbling.”

This book was an amazing read as every chapter constantly reminded me that it all begins with God. He leads our paths, has a plan for us and all we have to do is trust him. As a young woman trying to navigate the corporate world, reading this assured me that I’m not limited and how I could stay grounded in this fast-paced world. Thank you Madam Mwakina for empowering young girls like me.

I enjoyed the read particularly seeing the journey of her life from the point of little material resources but in the midst of so much family and human capital and resources. The beauty of a big family and how a member steps in and out and makes contribution in the journey of another.

It was interesting to see how the determination and focus to do better and be better was a driving force to achieving success; and also how having Jesus Christ as the centre of the journey has made it all possible.

Thank you for sharing your Journey!

As a young woman navigating the corporate world, I found the author’s journey both inspiring and relatable. Their story of balancing career growth with unwavering faith in God has given me a fresh perspective on how to handle the challenges I face in my own career. The emphasis on perseverance, maintaining personal values, and trusting in a higher purpose has been particularly beneficial as I strive to stay grounded while pursuing success in a fast-paced, sometimes overwhelming environment.
