Super grateful for Mercy heeding to Gods call and writing this book. It made me reflect on my relationship with God and the different types of losses I have gone through and currently face. It will definitely help anyone going through not only grief of a loved one but grief in general and in all different forms.

I lost my loving and caring wife through breast cancer three years ago. We were married for 44 years .
After reading Mercy’s book as my daily devotion within the month, I saw my pain differently.
I realised she wasn’t going to come back and I am not alone in this season.

When I can, I buy a copy of this book as a gift to my dear grieving friends.

Thank Ben for buying a copy for my Dad. He could resonate with alot of the emotions and questions that Mercy shares in her book. It does make a huge difference to know that you feel is very normal. And that there is someone who understands the pain of the loss of a loved one.

I’m deeply sorry for your loss. Forty-four years of marriage is a remarkable testament to love and commitment, and your story is truly inspiring to us younger generations. I can only imagine how challenging this time has been, but I’m grateful that my book helped you realize you are not alone. One of the most profound lessons I learned through this journey is that Jesus walks with us, even in our darkest valleys.
When my Dad shared that the book had encouraged you, I was incredibly touched and thanked God. I initially thought I was writing for women, but God clearly had bigger plans. Thank you for your kind words and for sharing the book with your friends. It means so much to me.

I read this book when I was crashed after my dear wife went to be with the Lord. Nothing made sense then. But the way you shared you experience so frankly helped me see things differently. This is a prescription for any grieving person.

We anticipate pregnancy and Child birth with a lot of excitement, but when these hopes are shattered by miscarriage or child loss the pain can be debilitating. Thank you mercy for this handholding book towards acceptance, healing & recovery. Oh the resonance!

This book is a must have for anyone going through loss and grief. It was launched when I was going through loss and grief and it helped me relate well with individuals in the Bible. I felt I wasn’t alone in this journey which was therapeutic. I find myself rereading this beautiful book during my free time.

It’s very reader friendly and easy to relate with our real life struggles.

Does God exist? Is He the loving Father the Bible says He is? Every Christian undergoing intense suffering sooner or later will be confronted with these questions. After losing two babies Mercy had to have answers to these questions or live a life devoid of zest or hope.
Combining her knowledge of counselling psychology and scriptures with her own experience and the experiences of others Mercy distills a coping mechanism for those experiencing severe grief and /ordepression. Numerous quotations from the Bible are supplemented with quotations from at least twenty authors.
The book is readable and inspiring. It is compulsory reading for those in trouble and those trying to help them.

Powerful read. Thank you Mercy for overcoming grief to becoming a source of encouragement to many others. You have indeed comforted others with the same comfort you received from God Himself. More grace to you as you continue touching many more lives through writing. It is clear that your writing has a professional touch. Congratulations for your nomination.

Sincere, vulnerable and revealing. That’s how I picture Mercy’s state as she penned this. The clarity she has of grief and its role in any persons life is bittersweet. In turn she has educated me in a savory way.

Thank you
