“Impacting lives with Christian literature”

True Love Waits

True Love Waits delves into the concerns and experiences of young people navigating the complex issues of love and sex, offering both a cautionary tale and a path forward.

This compelling book tells the story of a young girl who began experimenting with love in her teenage years. What she thought was a journey toward true love turned into a series of painful and misguided experiences. Her search left her disillusioned and scarred, highlighting the dangers of pursuing love without understanding its true nature.

Through a systematic exploration of the issues affecting young people today, True Love Waits provides a clear roadmap to understanding love and relationships. It outlines principles of love, identifies its various forms, and offers a Biblical and practical definition of “true love.” This book is not just a cautionary story; it is a guide to making wise and informed choices in the journey toward genuine love and fulfilment.

I bought one for my first born daughter now taking her KCSE exams as a gift before she’s exposed to the world. But then I created time to go through so that I may understand the literature am exposing to her. I tell you I’ve ended up buying 2 more for her cousins. It’s worth every parent with a teen or youth buying for them. It’ll totally shape, guide & redirect their decision making when it comes to True Love.

I would like to recommend Rev. Makewa for the book award..

Makewa has been my mentor since 1993 where he mentored me for John school and youth ministry. What he has written was the material he used to train on youth ministry. I saw the manuscript in mid 1990’s. I highly recommend him for the award.

Today what young people call love is sex, they think the only way one can show love is having sex. I like the way the author clearly explains what true love is, that true love waits for the right time for sex. A must read for young people and parents.

Youth is the hope for the family, church and the nation. So we must make what they do in the name of “love” doesn’t destroy them. Because if the true meaning and purpose of love is not known misuse and abuse is enviable.
