Greetings beloved saints, men and women of God, in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am deeply humbled and honoured to be part of this marvelous forum of Christian authors. It is a privilege to interact with fellow servants of the Most High from across Africa, including my own beautiful homeland of Botswana.
Allow me to introduce myself. I am Bishop Dr. Keoagile Cain Malizimba, National Overseer of Christian Assemblies in Botswana, adjunct lecturer at Assembly Bible College, and Senior Pastor at Mokatse/Modipane Christian Assemblies. I also serve as a marriage officer, counsellor, and leadership trainer. My heart beats for leadership development and worldwide evangelism. I am joyfully married to Ditsile Daisy Malizimba, and together we are blessed with three sons and one daughter.
My writing journey began not with a love for books, but with the transforming power of the Word of God. At a time when my life was in deep mess, I borrowed a Bible from my cousin. By the grace of God, my eyes fell upon Proverbs 28:13: “He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.” The verse pierced my heart as if someone was speaking directly to me. That moment marked the beginning of my salvation story.
Soon after, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour in a local church. From then on, my appetite for God’s Word and Christian literature grew immensely. Books became such a treasure that I began budgeting for them every month. The personal testimonies I read in those books stirred something within me. I kept hearing an inner voice saying, “You too have a story to tell the world.”
In obedience, I published my first book, Jesus Christ the Only Way of Salvation, in 1997. It was never intended for profit — only as a free witnessing tool for both new converts and unbelievers. Two years later, I released my second book, The Secret of Perseverance (1999), written to strengthen new believers and support church-planting missions. Both books were freely distributed in crusades, workshops, and evangelism campaigns.
Shortly thereafter, I pursued higher studies, completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Education at the University of Botswana in 2000. For many years I focused on academics and ministry, but in 2016, the Lord visited me in an extraordinary way, rekindling the fire for writing once again.
Most recently, I co-authored a powerful book on Good Stewardship with Prof. Dr. Madei Mangori. This work emphasizes stewardship across every sphere of life: political, economic, social, intellectual, legal, environmental, technological, financial, and spiritual. It seeks to provide solutions to long-standing challenges faced by leaders in both society and the Church. It is our prayer that politicians, CEOs, church leaders, and everyday believers will be equipped and transformed by these principles.
My writing journey is a testimony of God’s grace. From one verse in Proverbs that changed my life, the Lord has led me to write, to teach, and to impact both the Church and society. And the journey continues.
