The 5th African Christian Authors Book Award – ACABA Gala and BookFest recorded yet another memorable highlight with the recognition of the best set up by an author going to Titus Otieno.
The award recognises the author whose exhibition stand demonstrated outstanding excellence in presentation, visual storytelling, and intentional engagement with readers. Titus Otieno’s BookFest setup stood out for its clarity, order, and thoughtful design—drawing attendees in without noise, spectacle, or excess. It was a display that quietly commanded attention, reflecting preparation, purpose, and a deep respect for both content and audience.
As part of the award, Titus Otieno received a Kes 10,000 Printing Voucher, generously sponsored by Christian Literature Communications – CLC Kenya – Print on Demand, to support continued publishing and distribution of quality Christian literature.
The BookFest set was widely admired for its strong presence and coherence, reinforcing the idea that presentation itself can be a form of ministry. More than a display, the stand communicated values—order, excellence, and intentionality—leaving a lasting impression on fellow authors, readers, and partners in attendance.
This recognition adds to an already remarkable moment for Titus Otieno, who also received Content of the Year (Men/Women Category) at the 5th ACABA Gala for his book Activated Husband. The double honour marks a significant milestone in his authorship journey and affirms the impact of his work both in message and delivery.
