Mr BM Shiholo holds a Master of Philosophy in Information Sciences and a BSc degree in Information Sciences from Moi University. After graduation, he worked as a Registrar at Oshwal College (1996-2005) and later as a Senior Editor at East African Educational Publishers Limited (2005-2015).
Before joining the publishing industry, he was an editorial consultant with several reputable publishing companies in Kenya. He is an accomplished researcher. He has helped mentor undergraduate students and assessed manuscripts for self-published authors.
Mr Shiholo was a Kenya Association of Publishers’ Editorial Committee member and published articles in the KPA Magazine.
He is a private Information, Publishing, Library and Records Consultant in Nairobi, Kenya. He taught Scholarly Journal Publishing at Moi University and was a sub-editor of Sage Magazine.
He has been the lead judge in a writing competition sponsored by Writers Guild Kenya.
