Greetings in the powerful name of our Lord, King, and Savior Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
My name is Mhlengi Mahlaba, hailing from Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. I am a preacher and teacher of the Word of God, called to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ far and wide.
My writing journey is an interesting one, though I never saw myself as a writer until recently. Looking around my room, I see numerous notepads and exercise books filled with the words God has spoken to me over the years. It’s become clear to me that God prepares us for every season that lies ahead.
The writing of my book came about swiftly after a divine prompting. Following a teaching assignment in Ladysmith, South Africa, the Holy Spirit spoke to me: “Let us write a book.” Without hesitation, I grabbed my laptop and began to write. Interestingly, the book that is now published wasn’t the first attempt. Initially, I had another title in mind, but something felt off. I paused, closed my laptop, and awaited further instruction.
The next day, the Holy Spirit gave me a new title: “The Manifest Presence of God.” He assured me, “This is the book the world needs for this season.” Obeying His voice is crucial, as He guides us into all truth.
From June to September last year, I diligently penned this book. It arrived at a pivotal time in my life, bringing clarity and progress during a period of standstill. Through it, I’ve found my voice and expressed the heart of God as He has revealed it to me.
In essence, “The Manifest Presence of God” is a revelatory work that explores fundamental principles of the Kingdom of God and how God manifests His presence through them. His presence sustains our existence; every breath we take is by His grace alone.
This book is a testament to what God’s presence has done and continues to do in my life. It’s not just my story but a realization for all that we are nothing without His presence. Establishing a relationship with God through Jesus Christ sparked the birth of this project.
God’s presence is limitless and eternal, desiring to reveal Himself profoundly in this generation. Through writing this book, I’ve witnessed His continual manifestation among us.
In conclusion, I believe God expressed Himself through my writing to reveal His presence to His people. This is my brief writing journey and an overview of “The Manifest Presence of God.”
