“Impacting lives with Christian literature”

That Audacious Hope: The Journey

Five years after she walked down the isle towards her husband, Tariro had no idea that she would wake up one day, in a foreign land with the intention of filing a missing person’s report. What followed after she found her husband was a series of dizzying and numbing moments as Tariro stood by her husband’s hospital bedside everyday, without fail.

That Audacious Hope: The Journey, follows the release of it’s daily devotional with a deep dive into the journey Tariro went through as she fought for her husband’s life. The book strives to show the reader, through the eyes of a wife gracefully broken, what mercy and grace in the face of loss look like. In this book, you will go on Tariro’s journey into the shadow of God’s wings, with teary eyes and a bucket load of that Audacious Hope.

In this piece, we journey through pain and stigma, making a conscious decision to trust in the Author and Perfecter of our faith in the face of every fiery dart of the enemy. Like Hannah, we will pour out our heart before God knowing that it’s okay not to be okay in His presence. It is in the depths of pain that we often find ourselves wrapped in His grace, strength and love, because that is what sustains us. Afterall, we are all children of God, not adults of God: it will be important to walk into His arms with the audacity of a child-like faith.
