The ACABA platform has enabled Until My Last Breath to reach broader audiences, affirming its message and design, and connecting me with a community of African authors who lead through literature – Magdalene Nasimiyu

I am a passionate follower of Christ, committed to equipping believers to live out their role in God’s redemptive mission. I serve with Mission Campaign Network, a Christian organisation committed to mobilising all God’s people to prayerfully, purposefully, and intentionally participate in the fulfilment of the Great Commission. As the Angaza Mission School Coordinator, I lead with conviction, challenge, and inspire others to deepen their faith and boldly embrace God’s calling. Through missional discipleship, I help nurture hearts, shape purpose, and empower the next generation to live boldly for Christ.

I am the author of Until My Last Breath: An Abandoned Devotion, a stirring call to wholehearted surrender and a heartfelt invitation to pursue Christ with unwavering devotion. The book is a foundational resource, providing a pathway for readers to translate deep personal faith into transformative leadership and effective public mission. Beyond its message, the book’s design has become part of its witness, visually embodying the depth and beauty of surrender. Winning the Cover of the Year Award affirmed that even the outward presentation of a book can inspire readers to engage with its message of faith and hope.

When I heard that Until My Last Breath had been awarded Cover of the Year, I was both humbled and overjoyed. It felt like a celebration not only of the words within, but also of the artistry that makes the book approachable and inviting. I saw it as God’s reminder that every detail, whether in writing or design, can be used to draw hearts closer to Him. More importantly, it was God confirming my writing call, as I had whispered to Him moments before.

ACABA has played a significant role in my leadership by recognising and amplifying the impact of my book. As a first-time author, I had little understanding of the vast and complex world of books. Through ACABA, I was able to connect with incredible authors who generously shared their experiences. Together, we learned about the realities of the publishing journey and how to navigate the challenges of the book market with wisdom and confidence. The ACABA platform has enabled Until My Last Breath to reach broader audiences, affirming its message and design, and connecting me with a community of African authors who lead through literature. This recognition has strengthened my voice and motivated me to continue using storytelling as a ministry of hope and reconciliation.
