Growing up in a background that didn’t give me confidence and a bright future ahead, made me not think much about success. I had a lot of criticism and negative opinions about the idea that the journey to success is only for a few. But by God’s grace, I grew up, finished high school well, and proceeded to university. This is where my full confidence kicked in; I discovered that I could write and do public speaking.
That’s how the journey began. I had a few manuscripts rejected, but I kept going. By God’s grace, I was able to publish my first book, 2020: “Beyond the Horizon.” In 2021, I published my second book called “The Victorious Attitude.” In 2022, I published my third book “The Power of the Spoken Word.” In the process, by God’s grace, I see that the future in writing is very bright.
The background never defeats destiny.
Answering these three life purpose questions is key:
1. Who are you? – Son or Daughter of the Most High.
2. Why do you exist? – To pursue your purpose.
3. What will you be remembered for after you’ve gone? – Legacy.
With God, determination, discipline, hard work, focus, and persistence, all things are possible.
As authors, I challenge you to keep asking yourself these three destiny evaluation questions in the journey:
1. Where have you been?
2. Where are you now?
3. Where do you want to go?
4. And, how will you get there?
