“Through The Storms of Life,” Alphonse Kabui’s Journey in discovering a roadmap to financial freedom

I am a career banker, trainer, and financial, leadership, and governance consultant. I have worked for commercial banks and later in Non-Governmental Organizations across Africa and beyond.

Additionally, I serve as a senior pastor at New Life Covenant Church – Mutonya Branch and am the founder and Director of Restoration and Rescue Centre.

My siblings and I endured challenging circumstances marked by extreme poverty during our upbringing.

For 20 years, I followed a religious path until I encountered Jesus Christ in 1980 and dedicated my life to Him. Driven by a disdain for poverty, I embarked on research during my banking career to understand why hardworking individuals often struggle to attain wealth.

Through this research, I realized that working smart and acquiring financial knowledge, rather than toiling excessively, is key to financial success. I recognized that ignorance in any area of life leads to poverty of both mind and spirit.

This realization burdened me with a desire to assist individuals and families trapped in financial hardship by sharing insights through writing a book on overcoming financial challenges. Despite my extensive experience in financial matters, I questioned whether this was God’s calling for me.

“Through Financial Storms” documents my journey into writing, a process I believe was divinely ordained.

In 1997, I survived a severe, life-threatening road accident and spent a week in a coma at Nairobi Hospital. Despite the grim prognosis, I miraculously recovered. During my convalescence, I felt a spiritual prompting urging me to leave a lasting legacy. This led to a vivid vision of writing numerous books, igniting my passion for writing.

Drawing from my impoverished background, I aimed to provide a roadmap to financial freedom and prosperity through “Through The Storms of Life,” a book suitable for readers of all ages. It offers invaluable insights that can strengthen marriages, preventing them from crumbling under financial strain and mistrust.

I firmly believe that this book has the power to transform lives and relationships, bridging the gap caused by financial struggles.
