Wairimu is a Writer and Editor with Timazi, a Christian youth magazine published in Kenya. She came to writing after a 20-year career in financial management in Christian organisations and international development. She edits book manuscripts and indulges her love for stories in her blog wairimuthuo.com.
In 2021, she was the 2nd place winner of the Littworld2022 writing contest. She is a mother of two teenage daughters and considers herself an East African having lived in Uganda, Tanzania, and Addis Ababa (where she currently resides).
During her downtime, she enjoys cooking, hiking, playing board games with her teenage daughters as well as coffee dates with her girlfriends.
