His Story My Life

His Story, My Life, is a fantastic journey of a woman who has gone through a roller coaster of life. Her courage and candid talk about her life were just as inspiring as the story itself. Zinhle immediately brings the reader into her personal space right from the beginning of the book, and she captivates you with vivid descriptions or background. Bringing out the beauty of life in the rural areas and challenges of being a girl child growing up in an era where you could lose opportunities just because of color, gender, or geographic location. The writing style also brings you up close with the author, and you can see the authenticity of her story and her passionate desire to help those looking for solutions. The book is an amazing mix of scientific facts and real stories that bring out a candid conversation addressing topics many may deem taboo. You will certainly not be bored as you read this book. Instead, you will find it engaging and captivating on one side, and on the other side, it is thought provoking and awe inspiring.

Her courage and bravery will undoubtedly be a point of healing for those that follow this book through. This is the kind of story that needs to be told, and it will help others break out of being victims of their circumstances to become victors in life and be able to bring others on a journey of discovering freedom. In a society working so hard to bring women to a place where there is social balance and equality, it has become so easy to tip the boat over on the other side. Zinhle skillfully brings a Kingdom balance by using the Word of God as the premise from which she writes. Read this book not just as a collection of historical events but as a tool that will help you find answers amid great discouragement and personal challenges. Read it a couple of times and internalize the wisdom it carries, and you will begin your journey to His Story, My Life.

This book will minister to many in the church. It will encourage people to prepare themselves for marriage, get healed from the past and step into meaningful relationships at all levels. It will also be a tool for ministers to know how to handle situations that have deeper causes. It carries a direct hard hitting message that causes the reader to begin to look deep into their heart and get their life in order. It carries a strong anointing that will bless many lives and help them get into a place of healing and restoration. It shall connect with many people as the author have opened up her life to the world and made herself vulnerable and that will draw people to the book. This book will draw families to connect and use it as a tool for healing, deliverance and restoration. It carries a strong message that shall provoke a deep healing in people’s lives, bring healing in marriages and help couples draw closer to each other and build stronger marriages. It is a tool that will help people to introspect and confront many issues that may be hidden. This book can be used as a work book for group discussion in Book Clubs.

The fact that the author goes in-depth on each and every phase of her life allows all readers to relate, hence the book is relevant to teens, adults, married, unmarried, called, saved and unsaved….

Another thing that I love about this book is the writting style…. the language and style allows everyone to understand and flow without having to pause for a dictionary.

My favorite chapter is chapter 3. Where the author forgives her father despite of everything. I was also rejected by my father, and though I made attempts to have a relationship with him he kept pushing me away and watching him love his other children broke me. However, from reading this chapter I was able to forgive him completely and be there for him in his old age. So, yeah!!! We thank God for this therapy.

“His Story, My Life” is a poignant and gripping narrative that held me captive from the very first page. Each chapter left me eagerly anticipating the next, drawn into the unfolding journey of Zinhle. Her story touched my heart deeply on multiple levels — as a mother, daughter, wife, sister, friend, and believer in Christ.
The author’s ability to weave biblical truths into the challenges she faced is truly admirable. This connection between faith and real-life struggles not only enhanced the depth of the story but also provided a framework for introspection and personal growth. As I read, I found myself analyzing my own relationships, inspired to develop and nurture each one for the better.
What stands out most is Zinhle’s raw yet graceful portrayal of her truth and pain. Her honesty is both heart-wrenching and uplifting, offering readers a sense of shared humanity and hope. “His Story, My Life” is more than just a memoir; it is a testament to resilience, faith, and the transformative power of confronting and embracing one’s reality.

A Powerful Journey of Love, Forgiveness, and Healing!

His story my life took me on an emotional roller coaster that left me both moved and introspective. As I delved into the pages, I found myself contemplating the true meaning of love, forgiveness, and what it means to open our hearts to God and one another.

Zinhle, your courage in sharing your testimony is commendable. Your words have touched my soul and challenged me to deepen my understanding of forgiveness. This book serves as a powerful reminder that, through faith, we can find the strength to heal and rebuild relationships.

I highly recommend His Story My Life to anyone seeking a transformative and inspiring read. May Zinhle’s words reach many nations and touch the lives of countless families, guiding them toward a path of love, forgiveness, and spiritual growth.

I read this book and I appreciate her honesty and I could relate on alot of the issue she had. Also this book help me to see where some things I needed to heal from . But thr best part was reading the book and taking the class with it it was amazing meeting new people and just being open to allow myself to be me. To let my walls down it was a safe environment and the book helped me let go of things and to allow God to heal me through things I never knew I should repent for. This book and her class is something that is definitely a must.

I truly loved reading this book. I couldn’t stop reading it. As a matter of fact I quickly finished it.
For me, the most captivating aspects in this book were:
1.How sibling position s or birth order predicts certain roles in the family.
2. Family blood line issues and patterns
3. Marriage as an example of God’s relationship to the church

Wow, what a book!!! Very much thought provoking! Once I started reading it, I just couldn’t stop! For some reason, I was able to relate with the author on so many levels. After reading every chapter, I took some time to think about my own experiences and learned quite a lot from the research that the author included. It is not just a typical bigraphy! The workbook was a bonus, because I was able to work on my own issues, step by step, which provided me with much needed clarity and healing towards certain issues that I’ve also struggled with. This book is truly educational, and I wish that it could reach more people. One of the biggest lessons I learnt from the book is that our lives are truly not our own, to God we belong🙌 God can allow anything to happen to us, only to use it for the enrichment of others. God’s ways are truly high and he always has everything figured out.

Acknowledgements:
“To my children…. I have written this book so that you do not repeat the same mistakes that the generation befor you made. I am exposing the enemy’s game plan to keep the family unit captive…”

Imagine if all our mothers would open up to us… 😤😤 about all their struggles and all they have been through.
So that we do not repeat their mistakes and also be vigilant enough to see when history is trying to repeat its self and rebuke it.

For instance in some families rape is a generational attack and its kept secret from generation to generation… Its unbreakable because how are we going to confront and break generational curses we dont even know of?

So this book touched me from the beginning to end.

As an unmarried born again, this was an eye opener to so many traps that we fall in to which may carry lifelong consequenses in marriage life.

The book has also brought me to a place where I want to seek the will and the heart of God in every situation I find my self in. It has helped me to become a christ-centered child of God.
So much healing in this book, because I could relate to just a lot of things.

Read it in a space of a day and a half because at first I just kept going and going, because hey!!! So much drama happening… A whole entire movie to watch , provoking all sorts of emotions (I even jumped out of bed at some point because haibo!!!!!)… So its that type of book and its my go to book every now and then, and God directs me to right pages every single time, because every single page carries life(the word). The author makes sure to refference everything tobthe word, which makes the book not only about her but about Christ too.😓🌱🙌

T’is indeed a story of courage!
Very relevant for this generation.

One of the masterpiece books I’ve read. Not only is the writing style unique and captivating but the story itself evokes so much emotion (spoiler:- I cried, prayed, got angry, repented, got disappointed then encouraged, annoyed then inspired) but I finished it with so much inspiration. This book respectfully carries you from the heart of the writer to that of God. “The enemy is fighting to ensure that there is strife and division in families so they do not contend for their prophetic destinies” a line from Chapter 9 that brought about awakening in my spirit regarding my family. Just go read this book and be revived.
