I am Josphat Mucira Muriuki. A Minister of Gospel, and a Born – again Christian. I am a Lecturer, an Author, Motivational Speaker, and Life Coach. My passion and mission are empowering individuals, churches and communities through training, writing, advocacy, and research.
Career and Societal Contribution
I have made my contributions to society through teaching, training and lecturing. I started as a high School teacher, then college tutor and later on university Lecturer. I have also inspired many youths, students, men and women, through leadership training, motivational speaking and coaching. Regarding Ministry, I am a teacher of the Word.
My Writing Journey
My writing journey is a testament of God’s grace and the passion to transform lives. My desire for writing started in 1987 when I was in class 7. I was a passionate student who loved reading. I remember reading my first motivational book, “In Pursuit of Purpose” by Dr Myles Munroe. This book opened my eyes and I admired the author’s teachings. Later on, I read many of his books.
My zeal for writing was ignited by my late grandfather, Josphat Mugochi Mwangi, a professional teacher. He became my mentor who encouraged and inspired me to pursue education and fear of God. He showed a lot of confidence in my abilities and even suggested we write a book together when I was in form 3. However, he passed on without actualizing that goal.
My quest for writing continued unabated. I was privileged to join Daystar University for my undergraduate studies. Here, I was able to sharpen and refine my writing skills. I became an active writer and a columnist in the University magazine, “The Involvement”. Many students and lecturers admired my articles which made me popular. This is how I developed confidence in writing. In 2006, God confirmed to me that I will write books and impact many people. With that revelation, I bought a note book and started writing ideas about my book. It’s in 2016 while lecturing at Gretsa University, Thika when I received a breakthrough and started compiling my first book. It was not an easy task but I managed to publish the book in 2022. My writing journey has taught me patience, focus, hard work and determination. More importantly, trusting upon God brings success.

This Self-help publication is a culmination of many years of research and experience. The book comprises of 192 pages with 12 Chapters and explores the proven strategies of achieving personal and organizational development and success. The main focus is to help readers become productive and relevant in their societies, churches, businesses, and careers. It is holistic in nature as it focuses on individual, professional, spiritual, economic, and social aspects. The book elucidates on the philosophy that you can only become successful and relevant in society by becoming valuable. Your contributions and impact on the lives of others propels you to greatness. Breakthrough comes by providing solutions to Societal problems. The book inspires readers to achieve their highest potentials and transform societies. It is unique in the sense that it is based on Biblical principles and Christian values as foundations for prosperity. It also employs pragmatic approach in addressing contemporary challenges facing our society. Each chapter has a part on application of the discussed strategies.
This book appeals to the youth, men and women, leaders, clergy, politicians, and businesspeople who desire to excel and make an impact in our society.
