From Mentorship to Writing: Rutiba’s Journey to Becoming an Author

My Name is Patricia Khayongo Rutiba, married to Daniel Rutiba and mother to three children and many more.

As far back as I can remember, I have always loved reading đź“š
Books were my adventure world as a child and teen, so I would travel the globe, and solve mysteries without leaving home.

In 2007, my husband and I created a forum for single people to interact, get discipled, mentored in family matters, and serve God.

I used to get testimonies to encourage them to stay pure and be accountable to one another. I started writing short stories with lessons, like parables. When Daniel read these, he told me to write a book with these relationship lessons and guidelines for them.

2012 I embarked on the Knights in Kampala journey and completed the manuscript in 2015.

It took two years for a content editor, an English editor, and a book designer to review the book, but it was worth it.
