I am Margaret Abukutsa Vidolo. I am an ambassador of God’s Kingdom and daughter of the king.
My writing journey dates back to 2015 when I was in a far country India for treatment. I just wrote the painful journey I was experiencing to inspire a woman who was experiencing loss.
It remained a manuscript until when I met a writing coach in 2020 when I was going through COVID-19. The book The Diamond Underneath was birthed and it won an Acaba (Africa Christian Authors Book Award) women category in 2021.
In May 2022 I had to go back for another surgery this time thyroid.
I joined the Jasper writing class in CLC I graduated in August 2022. I wrote the book during my second surgery.
My third book Whispers From My Dad is a short memoir that I wrote in 2020 but finished last month after the demise of my brother-in-law.
My dad died on 10th April 2020 and my brother-in-law passed on on 15th April 2024.Same month 4 years and 5 days apart.
But what stood out for me is how these men although sudden were their deaths on purpose.
I reflect on what impact a dad has to his daughters especially if they take their rightful place as God intended.
I write as a way to let their legacy live on.
I will be launching my second and third book next month during my birthday.
It’s a new dawn because my birthday is in June, I was born again in June my Surgeries have always been around June.
