Barnabas was born in Kakamega County 56 years ago. He graduated with a BSc. degree in Botany, Zoology and Chemistry and later on a Master of Science degree in Analytical Chemistry. He worked with the Government Chemist Department in October 1992 as a Lab Analyst. He then joined the Kenya Bureau of Standards in September 1993 where he worked as a Standards Office till August 1999.
In August 1999, he resigned to answer the call of God. He served as an Associate Pastor at Nairobi Lighthouse Church till September 2011. While there he attended Bible School where he got an Associate degree in Biblical Studies & Counseling. He was also responsible for overseeing over 40 small group leaders in the Church, developing material for Leadership training and Pre-marital counselling.
In 2009 Barnabas undertook a Coach training under Life Forming Leadership Coach training affiliated to Regent University. He was certified as a Life Coach in 2010, specialising in Marriage and Relationships. A niche he discovered while doing life focus, the second module, of his Life Coach training. In 2012 after his wife Grace went through the same training, they set up their Coaching business, Two Ships Solutions. Here they have worked with over 500 Couples helping them prepare for Marriage or repair broken Marriages and Relationships. At Two Ships Solutions, their mission is to bring healing and restoration to individuals and their key relationships, Marriage being the top priority.
Barnabas is a born-again Christian having received Christ as a fresher in University in India. He got saved on February 22nd at the New Life Assemblies of God Church in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh India. He has been involved in Christian leadership since his youth.
Barnabas married his wife Grace on the 26th of August 1995 at the Good Shepherd Church Ngong Road. Together they have three children, two boys, Eb-e-Nezer 24, Uzziel 21 and a girl Shekinah 16 years.
