I am Ted Kamaliki Kalani aka XLVI K (46K) an author from Kenya and here is my story…
My story begins in Kawangware, Nairobi, Kenya. This is where I was born and raised. I am a Husband to an amazing Lady and a father to a charming daughter. I am passionate about music, financial literacy, discipleship and soul winning. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Financial Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. I am a Gospel rapper, Founder and CEO of Christian Geng Record Label, Ganji Africa CBO and Veloces Financials Management LTD. Currently I am the chairman of Kenya Holy Hiphop which is a collective of christian hiphop creatives in Kenya. I have vast experience in personal financial Management having done various successful financial training events targeting the youth.
My journey into writing began with hunger and passion. I had the hunger for knowledge and the passion for discipleship and financial freedom. In 2018 I embarked on a Financial freedom study which involved reading a lot and attending trainings. One day I read a book called the bull dog mentality and for the first time ever I finished the book in one go. This was the first ever non-course book I had ever read and finished without a break. After the experience I said to myself that if ever I write a book it will be like the bull dog mentality. In 2019 I embarked on the writing journey and Authored my first book called ‘HOW not TO REMAIN POOR’. The book is a financial freedom guide from a Christian perspective.
My second book ‘DRIP’ was inspired by a musical album I did three years ago. The album contained four songs which detailed the journey of soulwinning and discipleship. In “DRIP: Journey of Soul Winning and Discipleship.,” readers are invited on an immersive exploration of the Christian faith, depicted through a captivating narrative woven with personal reflections, biblical teachings, and soul-stirring music. Through the lens of the album, the book delves into the essence of salvation, soul-winning, discipleship, and the transformative power of prayer.
With its seamless blend of personal testimony, biblical wisdom, and lyrical expression, “DRIP” offers readers a profound glimpse into the transformative power of faith and the profound impact of prayer in navigating life’s journey with purpose, courage, and unwavering faith.
My writing journey has been about painting pictures through words and letting the listeners and readers get to see the world from a different lens.
