Healing from Divorce: Embracing Restoration and Renewal with Thozama Ntuba

My name is Thozama Ntuba also known as Tozo from South Africa.

I am the Author of DIVORCES HEALING PROCESS : How to heal from divorce trauma and carry on with life.

I am a born again child of God blood washed.

I am a divorcee and have a 6 years old Daughter Nkosephayo Nyalunga.

My writing journey started in 2020. The journey was inspired by my divorce story when i went through divorce.

I have decided to make an awareness about healing when going through a divorce and after divorce. My Book doesn’t encourage a divorce but am giving the tools of healing and coping skills.

I have come to realise through my experience that divorce is treated like a stigma by our society and the Church at large and that’s what is making us to have a gender based violence that we are facing today because people are having the HOW PEOPLE WILL SAY SYNDROME IF I DIVORCES.

People are being judged especially females we are given names like return soldiers etc and that’s not fair because no one get married to divorce it was very hard to share my story to anyone because i was scared of being judged as i was ashamed of myself already about my divorce decision though i knew that it’s not a mistake.

I have made a decision of making myself a major project to work on to finding myself again in God. As much as it wasn’t the easiest one i have endured the pain and i had to make sure that i turn that pain into a testimony and to rise above all hence am able to make this healing awareness today.

I have also come to realise that God hate divorce but doesn’t hate a divorcee then people should be welcomed back by Church and the society with love and support.

Some people they don’t go back to their normal mental state after divorce and that’s where Church should find ways to have ministries around divorcees to minister specifically to them and tell them that the journey to Heaven still continues than blaming and being manipulative about how they should have been prayed and stayed in toxic marriages in the name of honouring the same God who’s have principles of when a person can divorce in his world.

My Book is encouraging divorces to know that God can use broken pieces to build a throne and no matter how broken they are those pieces they precious in the sight of the Lord.

Anyone can go through what i went through in my marriage but still stay in her/his marriage you know why? because God has given us different strength for different reasons also for his own purpose.

To the families, Coleagues and to people who doesn’t know anything about a divorce my Book emphasize that you can learn one thing or two to a divorced individual to sustain your marriage so listen to divorce stories and learn because that divorce story might be in the plan of God as he uses anything to create anything.

And while faith, community, and personal strength carry someone through the hardest seasons of divorce, there is also the practical side that cannot be overlooked. Courtrooms, custody papers, and financial settlements are not places where emotions alone can guide you—it takes wisdom and preparation.

Having a local team of divorce attorneys by your side doesn’t mean you lack faith or resilience; it simply means you’re stewarding the process with care, making sure your rights and your children’s futures are protected. Just as God uses people to minister to broken hearts, He also equips professionals to bring clarity and fairness where confusion and conflict often rise.

Divorce is not the end of a calling but a new chapter, and handling it with both spiritual guidance and sound legal counsel allows for healing that is complete—body, mind, and spirit.

Navigating divorce requires not only emotional resilience but also the steady hand of experienced professionals who understand the complexities of family law, from custody agreements to equitable division of assets. It is in these moments that compassionate yet skilled legal guidance becomes essential, offering a path forward that balances justice with dignity.

For those seeking such support, Hartin Family Law provides the focused representation needed to manage the practical realities of divorce while still respecting the emotional journey involved. Their commitment to clear communication, strategic planning, and personalized advocacy ensures that individuals can approach this difficult season with confidence, knowing that their interests and their family’s well-being are being carefully safeguarded as they move into the next chapter of life.

Am sharing that people should be given time to make their choices that will free them after they have tried everything according to our Christian principles.

My Book has been approved by department or Arts and Culture and is available in 100 Libraries in the Eastern Cape including three University Libraries.
