I am CPA Dr. Wilson Mbugua Ngugi — born again, a husband, a father, and a servant in the Lord’s vineyard. At Mamlaka Hill Chapel Ruaka, I serve in the Marriage and Family Ministry, walking alongside couples and families as we grow in Christ.
Professionally, I am a Financial Management Advisor, Mentor, and Speaker on Financial Literacy and Retirement Planning. My passion is helping people not just prepare for retirement financially, but embrace it as a God-given season of life — full of purpose, balance, and legacy.
The seed of writing was planted in my youth. In 2015, I published my first book, The NSE Prophecy. My latest work, Planning for Lifestyle in Retirement, was birthed from years of service as a Trustee and Board Chair of my employer’s Staff Pension Fund, the insights gained while pursuing my Doctor of Business Administration, lessons from friends and relatives, and most importantly, the truths I have gleaned from the Word of God.
In this book, I call individuals, couples, and families to take a holistic approach to retirement planning — one that covers spiritual, social, health, physical, mental, intellectual, and financial well-being, both now and in the later years. Retirement, I believe, is not a final stop but a transition with distinct phases — each requiring preparation. Planning should begin early, ideally from birth, with parents nurturing their children toward a life of purpose, and continue into adulthood as we steward our resources and responsibilities well.
This is my calling: to equip people to step into retirement not with fear or uncertainty, but with readiness, joy, and a heart anchored in God’s purpose.
