No Crib for a Bed: A Journey from Rejection to Redemption

My name is Sipho Khuzwayo. I am a born-again Christian, a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, and a dedicated worker in God’s field. In 2019, I founded the Siza Mafika Foundation to extend a helping hand to the less fortunate and bring hope to the helpless.

Answering God’s call over my life has not been easy, as my journey began with abandonment and rejection. My mother left me on a concrete bench, and I grew up as an orphan. Yet, through it all, God’s unfailing love has been my anchor, proving that His promises are indeed “yes and amen.”

Because of my own experiences, I have dedicated my life to serving orphans, ensuring they feel seen, valued, and cared for. My mission is to be a vessel of God’s love, bringing restoration and healing to those who, like me, have faced the pain of rejection.

My writing journey began in the most unexpected way. The day my mother abandoned me, my story had already begun, unfolding as I moved from one orphanage to another. Growing up was not easy, and being used by God at such a young age was confusing. I struggled to understand why He would call me while I was still just a child.

But in time, I realized that God had greater plans for me. I started preaching in schools, jails, hospitals, and churches, and it was there that I discovered my true calling—travel ministry, which I named Syabalanda (Calling People to Christ).

I remember one of my spiritual mothers telling me that my life story could inspire and bring healing to many. That conversation planted a seed in my heart, and from it, No Crib for a Bed was born—my first book, a testimony of God’s faithfulness and the power of redemption.

No Crib for a Bed is more than just a book—it is a voice for those facing rejection and seeking healing for their inner child. It serves as an eye-opener, reminding us that God still heals and saves. My hope is that this book reaches and touches many lives, bringing comfort and restoration. As we navigate these end times, may No Crib for a Bed be a light on the path, guiding hearts back to God’s unfailing love.
