Dinah Would Aptly Say That ‘Life Happened” And Still Is! Here Is Her Authorship Journey

My name is Dinah Muthuka. An Author, a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Project Management Professional, a mentor, a Menstrual Hygiene Management champion and the Founder of Young Jewels Foundation, an initiative that provides school-based mentorship programs to rural based primary school learners. I am Kenyan village girl who made it to the city and the city accepted her. I have been brought up well by a mother who made sure I never saw the worst of my missing father. A typical church girl; but still there are a number of Sundays I did not make it for the service. Many Sundays indeed. I love God, I love life and I am passionate about helping others. I have had hopes and dreams, I still do. Some are realistic while others, out of this world. At 26, I hoped I would have had it all figured out. But such is life, at that same age, I found myself in a big maze and still I was, in my 30s. I have walked some paths repeatedly trying to figure out the right direction. I had a master blue print then, being an author was not part of it, but then again, life happened. It threw me off balance and roughly pushed me to a corner where I only had a blank piece of paper and ink. I fell in love with writing and this has become the best part of my life.

I am an author to; DECADE 2.0 a Young Adult Book. This book is an open journey told from a wiser perspective. It is about the fun, the fast & the fatal. A collection of life experiences, the mistakes made, the really messed up stuff & the lessons picked along the way.

My other book ZARA is a Teens Story Book, which targets teenage girls and those approaching their puberty. It also targets the parents of teenagers, with the aim of breaking the silence and barrier, as well as reducing the shame and secrecy that surrounds women sexuality and menstrual matters right from menarche all the way to menopause.
