My name is Ken Joseph Mbuki, a software engineer, Business Intelligence Analyst (Master’s Degree in Business Analytics and Decision Sciences from University of Leeds), a farmer a photographer, a soccer player, an author and a kingdom entrepreneur!
My calling is to be a kingdom financier and use my God given abilities and talent to support the work of God in different capacities.
As sure as sunrise, being named Joseph was not a mistake, I am a dreamer…. My writing journey started as a dream which I did not take seriously, back when I was in campus – 2010. I was an avid reader but I never had considered being an author as something I would ever do! Fast forward, in 2019, I visited Heaven’s Gate Prayer Centre. During my fast, all my books content was downloaded into my heart – I was literary writing as if I had become Moses, being given the 10 Commandments on Mt. Sinai!
So, my writing journey officially started in 2020, it took time for me to publish, since at that point I was both financially unstable and a very shy Christian. I believed in God, Yes, but I was shy to go public. Being a young man, I surely had bits of my life that I had hidden to myself – the young generation calls it, “Maisha Finje Finje”– essentially one leg in Christ, and the other leg into the world.
But with the experience from Heaven’s Gate, I knew this was the time for me to change my ways and be a noble vessel for God’s work. I prayed and asked God to give me a sign that was very specific to this task – divine provision. Within a month of making that that prayer in faith, I got a short-term consultancy contract worth 3 times the amount I needed to self-publish the book! And that’s how the book The Kingdom Mindset.: Embracing the Values of the Kingdom of God came into being.
The Kingdom Mindset.: Embracing the Values of the Kingdom of God – is a blueprint of how to live a victorious Christian life by abiding by the set of rules and mental attitudes that align with God our creator. From a personal experience, when I got born again, I got very little guidance on the Kingdom’s culture which hence led me to living with a contradicted view and irrational belief of the laws of God and how to live as a Born-Again Christian.
I wrote this book to help all young Christians to discover their true worth, and take practical steps towards embracing the Kingdom culture and walking in a Kingdom mindset. I figured out that, if we understand and live by God’s Kingdom principles, then we shall become relevant, fulfilled and impactful in this present age. Without the proper knowledge of the Kingdom of God, we shall continue to lack spiritual impact and ultimate self-fulfillment as Christian’s ought to have or be.
My passion to write is now like a war raging in your heart, and I have 35 book Titles ready, that I endeavor to write before going to be with the Lord! As you can guess – for all those Titles, I get a dream at night with a message and a title for that message – such a dreamer indeed. As the late Dr Myles Munroe would put it, I plan to die empty!
My 2nd Literary work is an idea my wife and I came up, shortly after getting married last year! A wedding planner.
As many of you may know, planning for a wedding is stressful and time-consuming. Couples are constantly on the go and juggling incredible amounts of information all at once. We designed this wedding planner to help couples organize their big day, a little easier by giving them a portable space to jot down their thoughts and action points.

Where do I start with this Mr Ken. His book kingdom mindset changed my life completely! I got born again for the nth time because of that book. Ken is truly used of God and his content is truly impacting our generation. May God continually use him for the Glory and honor of His Name.
