Buckle your Girdle!
In the world we live in, two systems of government are at play, the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness and every other system is merely a sub-system of either of these two. These sub-systems push the agenda of one of the above, therefore, it is important that believers understand that because they belong to the Kingdom of God, they are up against a kingdom that is just as organised and is clear about its mission and mandate. It is important that believers understand that these two kingdoms are at war and God has dispatched a people, a formidable army with which to fight the war but, even so, praise be to the living God because we are fighting from a place of victory. Jesus said so Himself in the book of John 16:33, He told us to “be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (KJV)
This book, firstly, reminds believers about the war and their position or role in the war as soldiers. It goes further to equip the believers about the strategies that they need to employ in the warfare that they are part of. This book, therefore, equips and informs the believer about these important truths from scripture about the spiritual warfare that we are part of. It juxtaposes the soldier in the physical, earthly realm with the soldier in the Army of the Lord engaged in spiritual warfare. In this way, it opens the believers’ eyes by using what is already familiar to the believer and what will make sense physically.

This book is very interesting because it is a Christian book and sometimes we find them boring and not being relevant to the real life we live today but as I read this one, it didn’t feel like I’m reading a Christian book. Very educational and if you start reading it you don’t want to stop.
