Patrick Solomon Had Come To The End Of His Life, God Had To Speak, And He Did

“I have filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts”

As I pen down my writing journey, am humbled by God’s grace and skills He has bestowed upon me. What a privilege it is, to dissect prayer as a Christian discipline based on the very foundation of creations; the word of God. It all started in a prayer mountain, the slopes of Ukambani, Eastern part of Kenya. One sunny morning back in the year 2016, tired of life and confused I rode to KATOLONI PRAYER CENTRE.

One mission on my mind, God has to reveal my purpose in life or better yet take me home. It was a season of betrayal, rejection and a big mess. Salvation was not my cup of tea anymore but I still needed to get to heaven. Hence, the purpose for the trip was to send a strong notice to heaven that am coming home by all means necessary. Loaded with one prayer ultimatum, “God you either give me a reason to live or take my life”

Of course, the prayer was just an emotional statement. My soul was broken and beaten down by waves of life, a lot was happening. One day a book will be out there with details of what exactly was happening and how God came through, because He did. Seven days and nights I was engaged in unseen battles and victory was my portion. Psalms 46:10 NIV He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

It was a type of engagement that required me to be still, trust in His word and believe He can do exactly what He says He will. Indeed, at the mountain, there is always provision. I left with a purpose and a word for the same. Ezekiel 12:23 NIV “Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am going to put an end to this proverb, and they will no longer quote it in Israel.’ Say to them, ‘The days are near when every vision will be fulfilled. For there will be no more false visions or flattering divinations among the people of Israel. But I the LORD will speak what I will, and it shall be fulfilled without delay. For in your days, you rebellious people, I will fulfill whatever I say, declares the Sovereign LORD.’”

The vision i received was too good to be true and I remember when I woke up, I told God not to flatter me, am just tired. It was at that moment I had a voice say to me. “Believe in my words and in my prophets”. In my mind I thought God will send a man of God, a reputable prophet to come and confirm the vision, instead God sent Ezekiel, God sent His very word.

The vision required a lot of resources and my next question was, perhaps where will I get all these money? Hence, the scripture at the beginning of this testimony Exodus 31:3. All the resources needed will be provided for by God through special skills, talents and abilities He was to deposit in me. Praying the word of God to me is a fulfillment of this vision. It is also something I have experienced first-hand, ever since I started praying the word of God. All my prayers are answered, all my petitions are made with the right motives as they have to align with what God says.

Heavens responds to Gods word; everything has to bow down to its authority. When you declare God’s word in prayer, you can never pray a miss. The Holy spirit will be with you to teach you what to say and how to say it. He will teach you how to pray and what to pray. He will open up your inner eyes to see what God has planned for you. Did I enjoy writing? yes. I wrote while in a bus, in a prayer meeting, sometimes in the middle of the night I would get the message for the next chapter. It took me a very short time; it was a glorious season.

I must confess that I kept the manuscript with me for quite some time because of doubt. However, God’s time is the best and this is the appointed time. It is my prayer that many lives will be impacted worldwide and as many as those who will read will be enlightened. That they will pray God’s word and receive from God in Jesus Name. Amen.
