My name is Jumoke Akinjide, a daughter of Zion and a devoted minister of the gospel. Together with my husband, I have the honor of serving as the lead servants in a vibrant local church here in the United States ( born and brought up in Nigeria but recently moved here). My journey with God began as a child, when His unfailing love began to draw my heart toward Him. It has been a journey marked by His mercy and grace—gifts I do not take for granted.
I am deeply passionate about empowering the next generation of believers to make wise choices in marriage and to fully realize their potential in Christ. It is my heart’s desire to see them walk in the fullness of their identity and purpose.
It is with great excitement and anticipation that I present my first book, Unassailed. The title embodies resilience, the unwavering strength to stand firm in the midst of life’s storms. This book is a compilation of my own life experiences, as well as the testimonies of others, each one a testimony of God’s faithfulness and transformative power.
But Unassailed is more than just a book. It is a divine vessel of healing, forgiveness, restoration, deliverance, revival, and freedom. The words in these pages are not just ink on paper—they are spirit-filled, breathing life into anyone who reads them. As you turn each page, you will feel the tangible presence of God sweeping through your heart and soul, ministering to your deepest needs.
At its core, Unassailed is both a gripping story and an inspirational guide. It tackles difficult topics such as sexual abuse, God’s boundless grace, and the transformative power of forgiveness. It chronicles the powerful journey of a woman’s rise from brokenness to beauty. Through biblical stories of women who overcame abuse to stand tall in their God-given purpose, this book offers hope and restoration to those who have suffered in silence.
The story follows the life of Betty, a young, enthusiastic Christian girl from a financially vulnerable background, who moves in with her uncle in the city. Her journey unfolds as she grows in faith and navigates the complexities of life. Betty’s story is filled with moments of joy, excitement, and hope, but takes a heartbreaking turn as she experiences betrayal, sexual exploitation, abuse, a broken marriage, single motherhood, and eventual remarriage.
Unassailed resonates with the stories of countless individuals—young and old, single and married, separated or divorced—who are living in pain, burdened by the silence of their struggles. Many are carrying deep, unspoken wounds that no doctor, counselor, or loved one seems to know how to heal. This book addresses those silent scars and offers a path to healing and restoration.
But Unassailed is not just about revealing the problem. It provides practical, spiritual, and psychological help, offering real-time solutions for those who need it most. Filled with scriptures, divine direction, counsel, and prayer guidelines, this book is a lifeline, offering comfort, guidance, and hope to anyone who picks it up—whether or not they’ve experienced abuse.
Thank you for the opportunity to share the love of Christ, words of hope, and the power of restoration found only in Him. Through this book, I pray that you will encounter the healing power of God and find the freedom that only He can provide.
