When It Was Time For Jackie’s Family To Move, She Worried About Being A Stay At Home Mother

My name is Jackie Owusu Biney. My writing journey is intrinsically linked to my growing up as a youth leader and mentor. I had the privilege to mentor young people through counseling and sharing of my life. Some of these mentees have become church workers doing great work for the Lord. My book ‘The Nest’ is a continuation of my desire to continue to empower the youth of today.

My publishing journey began about 4 years ago. My husband and I moved from Ghana to Kenya more than a decade ago, because of work. My entire family traveled with him. I was working with a Development Agency and when the time finally came to finally leave, it became real to me, it was going to be tough just staying home and taking care of my husband and children. But I realized that there is no greater blessing than serving others especially, my family.
As I served, God enabled me to write 3 books, one is published whilst the other two are yet to be published.
1) The Nest – Published
2). Basic Tenets of Christian Growth (yet to publish)
3) The Marriage Route ( yet to publish)

As a child, my Dad was a University Librarian/Lecturer and he loved books. His passion made it extremely easy for me to have access to books. As an only child, my time was spent with books. My dad also made it his goal to make books my hobby and part of me. At the age of twelve, I gave my life to Jesus at a Scripture Union Camp. When I got to the university, I mentored the teens on many issues among them discipleship, being set apart, relationship matters as God instructs, how to choose your courses and many more.

God’s grace has been more than enough. My prayer is to see today’s youth come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ for a greater army for God’s kingdom. My ultimate goal is to assist raise them to work in God’s revolution of reaching the world for Christ. You can find me on the following platforms.
