Coach Elizabeth Is Not Relenting In Inspiring Children And Teenagers To Financial Prudence

I am a Money Coach /Financial Literacy Trainer and Author. I am a disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am especially passionate about children, teenagers and young adults, and inspire them to cultivate positive money habits, skills and attitudes for a lifetime of financial well-being.

My Mission:
To raise financially responsible citizens who will build strong families, neighborhoods, local and international communities. I am the founder of Attique Africa Ltd https://attiqueafrica.com/.

My authorship Journey restarted with COVID 19. Before then, I had written a personal finance journal though it was not really up to per. I had sold a few copies though I was not very comfortable with it. I kept thinking I would want to improve it but I did not know how or I did not spend enough time on it.

When COVID happened, the anxiety around it was real. We experienced a lock down for the first time in the history of my life. My family and myself really slept ourselves out the first month into the lock down, the worry was crippling; My children would wake up and join us on our bed and on we slept for long hours. We would have breakfast at around 11.00 a.m. and dinner at around 4.00 p.m. We agreed that we did not need much food, after all we were not doing much work.

In that sleep, my mind must have settled down and relaxed. God must have spoken! After a month when I could not have the bed anymore, I just woke up wondering how the mandate God had placed on me would ever be achieved. With the schools closed and all gatherings banned, there was no hope, or so I thought.

The calling to help people put order in their money for a lifetime of financial well-being was so clear. I was equipped especially for children, teenagers and young adults in a very miraculous way. I just woke up and started scribbling. At that point, my mind was flooded with ideas! I decided to put what I teach children about money in a book, which would reach every child and help them learn the money subject from early in life.

At some point I thought the consumption by teenagers would be different since many of them could have interacted with money, unlike the children. This is how the teenagers book was born!

It is unfortunate that most of us grew up with zero information about money. The money subject has been silent as we were growing up. When we start earning the money, sometimes it is hard for us to navigate or find our way. We learn the hard way through trial and error.

One of the biggest challenges we experience in our nation and many other nations of the world is lack of financial literacy education. It affects generations after generation, our nation and the economy. It could be the cause of the so many rampant vices we have in our communities around money. For many people, our relationship with money is wanting. A subject needs to grow over time.

Financial literacy is a core life skill that every child should be equipped with from early in life to grow over time. Subjects that are learnt early in life stick for a lifetime. This is what this teenagers money club workbook is all about. It is a Teenagers Money Life skills Workbook for the 21st Century Teenager.

However, it is never too late for us. Our empowerment around money management starts now! Our teenagers are lucky to have a coach and other resources. They will not commit the mistakes many have done.
