Gatimu Had To Push Beyond His Personal Battles To Reach Others

I am grateful to God and delighted to share the writing journey of my first book, ‘Confession’. In 2017, I began journaling and self-authoring as a process of healing at a time when I was struggling with inner battles. As I started writing, the desire to share with others grew, and I, therefore, embarked on the journey of transforming my emotions and thoughts for an audience that experienced battles within themselves.

One of the significant aspects was gaining the courage to write amidst self-doubt and feelings of inadequacy. Sometimes I felt like venturing into uncharted waters. My encounter with CLC Kenya ended up helping shape my work, not to mention the support from family and friends during those challenging times.

Towards the end, I felt a sense of satisfaction having gone through the process and finished the manuscript. This journey has been one of faith, determination, and pushing my limits to reach others with my stories and experiences. I encourage those in the process and aspiring to write to trust the process and seek expertise to refine their work.
