Wycliffe Bondet’s Vast Service Work In Ministry Inspired Him To Write His Book

I am the first born of seven in a peasant family. I was born and raised up on the slopes of Mt Elgon in Kenya. I Started my primary school in the year 1960 and completed high school in the year 1972. In 1974 I was employed by ministry of Works and then promoted and transferred to the ministry of Roads and transport, then again promoted and posted to the ministry of water. After sometime, I was promoted and transferred to office of the President – District Treasury.

By the grace of God was promoted again and transferred to the ministry of Finance as an Internal Auditor. In 1986, I was invited for an interview as an accountant 1 in Kerio Valley Development Authority, and got hired where i worked for twenty years. In that Authority I served in finance, printing, purchasing as manager and accountant.

In audit I served as chief internal auditor and Head of purchasing and supplies department. I also served as a manager in a very busy organization in the same authority and finally retired from the same organization in the year 2006. I rose from a low to a high position in the government, success that I attribute to diligence, honesty and faithfulness while working in secular Jobs and determination in studying Certified Public Accountants.

I was called to ministry at the age of thirteen years by the Lord Jesus Christ. I attended churches but was not in filled with the Holly Spirit. In 1986 God sent two servants to me who shared the word of God and the reason and importance of the working Holy Spirit in believers. I believed and received   baptism of the Holy Spirit, I then accepted to be baptized by immersion. Since then, my spiritual life was completely transformed.

My ministry work started from a humble beginning.  Started serving as an usher, a church elder, deacon, pastor, Reverend and now a bishop overseeing many churches in Evangelistic Church of the Lord Jesus Church. I am also a vice chairman of Eldoret Gospel Ministers Association. By God’s grace, I am to be a national chairman C.R.C International Churches and International Mission Bible Colleges.

I have travelled to few nations that include Ghana, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and USA to preach the gospel to many people. I have a Bachelor of arts in Biblical Studies and a Doctorate in Sacred Leadership also attended professional colleges and obtained many certificates on spiritual matters and management.

What inspired me to write this book entitled serving God with understanding is the way God by His grace lifted me from humble beginnings to the unexpected leadership position through experience, hard work, humility and serving God faithfully. It is the only means to be lifted up as I have narrated above.

My book is collection of many sermons preached over the years, I decided to put all the messages I shared in churches, conferences, seminars and crusades in a book. God is able to bless people who seek to pray serve Him and people with absolute dedication and humility. People who will read this book will be encouraged that hard work and prayer will be rewarded accordingly.
