I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Augustine (K.A. Mulenga), and I can confidently say that his dedication and passion for his craft are truly inspiring. Since he first started writing at the age of 10, Augustine has continued to develop his skills, resulting in over 40 self-published children’s books, each filled with colorful illustrations and meaningful life lessons.
What stands out most about Augustine is his unwavering commitment to making a positive impact through his work. Kalenga’s books teach young children how to have a great life by using good manners and understanding the consequences of their choices in life. As an educator, I have seen that today’s children have lost their moral compasses because of so much permissiveness. Mulenga’s books bring young children back to the center. He is a very important voice in children’s literature!

K A Mulenga is a terrific author, and his children’s books teach great life lessons in a wonderfully authentic, and in many ways traditional, African style. I loved David The Great King, whose story is so important in today’s world. David and Debbie’s story is also an important lesson. Patience and trust are qualities everyone needs to develop. K A Mulenga is an inspiration to both children and adults.

I love the lessons from Robbie the Raven and Debbie the Dove and David the Great King.
