“Impacting lives with Christian literature”

Girl Get Off the Floor shares a young lady’s journey navigating a toxic marriage that ended in divorce, including the disappointment, pain, and betrayal that she faced.
The book also explores her journey of healing and self-reflection after being knocked down.
You will learn how:
1. Your journey through divorce can empower you to be stronger.
2. To hold on to God in the darkest of places.
3. When God sends you help, He doesn’t force you to take it.
4. You can move on with your life because divorce does not have the final say.
Through her journey, the author provides a deeper understanding of the challenges as well as opportunities that come with divorce. And reminds her readers that as much as God hates divorce, he loves the divorcee.

Often times people are suffering silently in marriages because they don’t know who they can approach for help or are sometimes afraid that others will not understand what they are going through, or judge them, they feel like what they are going through is unique to them so others cannot understand. Many other times we are afraid of what people will think of us because of what we are going through, there is also that shame that people carry when they feel like because their marriage has failed they are a failure, so at times this will cause especially a woman to stay in an abusive relationship because she is worried and afraid of what people will say or think. Other times a woman thinks that that abusive situation is the best she can do because she has been in an abusive relationship so long, she no longer sees and understands her worth or value.

This book is especially for women who have gone through or are going different forms of abuse in relationships whether they are married or not and settle for toxic relationships and marriages because they do not know any better or feel like they cannot do better than their current relationship. Women who have allowed others to determine their value and worth based on how they treat them, who are not able to see themselves the way God sees them, value themselves the way God values them.

Yes, The Putting a Name to the Face, chapter 5, which is the topic of narcissistic abuse. In this chapter I explore narcissism and narcissistic abuse and how it affected me as an individual and how it would generally affect an individual. This mattered to me a lot because I was misunderstood a lot as I tried to explain my experience and was really trying to answer the question, what happened, which I found to be a very difficult question to answer. Difficult and frustrating actually. It was very difficult to answer the question what happened, So this chapter was written in a bid to answer the what happened, not in one answer but through the process of the various things that happened. To give the reader a deep dive into what the life of the spouse of a narcissist entails.
This book was written in obedience to the Lord in terms of writing my story, allowing myself to be vulnerable as difficult as it was, and allowing and trusting the Lord to use my story to minister to another girl/woman who could be going through or has gone through what I have been through and is not able to pick themselves off of the ground in which their experience has brought them to. Or is not even able to open up and talk about what they are going through or have gone through. To give them hope and encourage them that they can move beyond their experience(s) with the help of the Lord. So for them knowing what I have been through and seeing how far the Lord has brought me.

No matter what situation one finds themselves that has knocked them down and they are on the floor, they do not have to remain on the floor and remain a victim. We sometimes go through very painful experiences as a result of our choices or the choices of others but the Lord can bring restoration to any and every situation we have been and are going through. The healing journey is quite a process and can sometimes even feel impossible but we can trust God to walk with us and walk us through each and every situation no matter how difficult. As we walk with the Lord and we allow him to work in us, he will use even the worst ever situation in one’s life and turn it around for their good and even use their experiences to greatly encourage and minister to other people who are going through or have gone through what they have been through. Often times as a Child of God what we go through is many times not for us but it is for the benefit of those who will come into our lives and will be going through what we have gone through and be encouraged by our story so that they will not give up.
