“Impacting lives with Christian literature”

30 Days Of Transparent Faith

Faith is not as complicated as we perceive it, a big tick in a box that gives us a pass for God to love us. That’s not what faith is. Faith is a means by which we say, “God, I trust you. I believe you. I believe in your opinion of me.” Then we prove it by action. This devotional addresses the main issues surrounding faith:

• Doubt
• Brutal honesty
• Feelings of betrayal
• Impatience
• Anger

Rooted By Misimu

Do you long to pray but sometimes struggle to find the words? Perhaps you are beginning your journey with God, rebuilding your prayer life or seeking a deeper and more consistent relationship with Him.

To be rooted is to be steadfast, grounded and firmly established. This is the life God desires for you: a life anchored in His presence, secure in His truth and strengthened to walk in purpose.

Rooted by Misimu is a practical 30-day guided prayer journal that helps you bring the matters of your heart and the different aspects of your life before God with honesty, faith and confidence. Through thoughtfully selected prayer themes, Dr Wanjiku Ngigi guides you through spiritual growth, surrender, healing, forgiveness, identity, emotional wellbeing, relationships, purpose, finances, wisdom and everyday Christian living.

Each devotional is brief enough to give you room to reflect, seek God personally and listen for His direction. Biblical guidance, Scripture-based prayer prompts, writing space and example prayers will help you express what is in your heart while gradually developing the confidence to pray in your own words.

There is no better place to confront the issues of life than in prayer, where you meet the Creator of life Himself. Whether you have prayed for years or are only beginning, this journal will help you establish a more consistent, personal and prayerfully led life with God at the centre.

This is because prayer is not reserved for pastors, intercessors or people who appear more spiritual than you. God desires to hear your voice too.

So, come honestly. Come expectantly. Come ready to be rooted in God’s presence, truth, love and purpose.

Welcome to the Book Launch

“Impacting lives with Christian literature”

What inspired you to write this book, and what burden, life experience, or message did God place on your heart that you felt compelled to share?

I have a burden for those who are new in the Christian faith, especially in the area of prayer. During the season of writing this devotional, I felt led to co-create with the Lord a platform that would help those who are new in the faith, as well as those who desire to grow in prayer, particularly in learning how to pray with Scripture.

Every book has a central message. What is the heart of your book, and what do you hope readers will remember long after they have finished reading it?

The essence of this book is to instil the understanding that prayer is an essential part of our relationship with God and that the Word of God is important in deepening our understanding and practice of prayer. It is my prayer that those who go through the devotional will come out more confident in their walk with the Lord and more eager to invite God into every part of their lives.

Was there a chapter, story, devotion, or lesson that impacted you personally while writing? What made it especially meaningful to you?

Writing about the time when my family members came to visit me unannounced with a cake, without knowing that I was battling immense personal pain, was especially meaningful to me. It reminded me that God cares about me and that He can use people to communicate His care and love. It also taught me much about the omniscience of God and His intimate knowledge of us as His children. He knows our every thought, even those we do not consciously verbalise in prayer.

How did writing this book influence your own spiritual journey, faith, or relationship with God?

I grew closer to God as I wrote this book. As I poured out, God continually refreshed me and revealed His love towards me. He strengthened me throughout the entire process and gave me wisdom and insight, which helped me learn to operate from a place of rest and dependence on Him.

If someone is wondering whether this book is for them, what would you say? Why do you believe they should read it at this stage of their life?

This book invites you into a journey of greater depth and adventure in the Lord as you navigate different topics through prayer and Scripture. It is especially helpful for those who are new in the Christian faith or those who desire to grow in prayer, particularly in learning how to pray with Scripture.
